Well i have two life like N scale loco and thay both are good ones but one is a lot better then the other. I have a lot of trouble with one of them and the other one is so smooth you cant hear it running, And it never gives trouble. So i am thinking like shaygetz if it is a good price get it.

Most Bachmann dont have red and black wires thay get power through the frame. with wipers on the trucks. at least the ones i have ever seen do. But i am just talking on what i know about them.

Ok When you say you cleaned them what did you clean on them. If there is no power coming to the motor from the trucks then you mite need to check and make sure the wheel are clean and the pick up's on the trucks to the wheels are clean. then on most bachmanns there are wipes on the top of the...

Yea i was thiniking about going out buying a small table top water fall and taking the pump out of it. I dont need a lot of water as long as it will move the water to the top of a mountaion. And this is going on a N Scale so the mountion wont be that tall.

Yea CA dont hold plastic to well. I have found that Gorilla Glue works great on a lot of stuff it takes some time to dry but it is strong.

I would also have to say it is dirt build up on the wheels and track I have had this trouble before i went to nickel silver track. I have seen some of my loco run fine and others that would not run in some places on the track. So clean them up real good and try it again.

You will find that most model HO Scale. I also model HO To me it is the best scale. It is not so small i cant see it and it is not so big it has to be outside. But you need to make up your mine about this. As you are the one that has to be happy in the end.
