Unless the consolidation burst into flames & burned to the ground you should be able to get it up & running somehow. What happened?

    open letter

I agree 100 percent with Lynns sentiments about all our recently lost moderators. I do hope that soon we find out what really took place that caused the mass exodus, I am certain that Lynn is right as to why they left, & also hope that whatever change is coming will not be so onerous that...

The light at the end of the tunnel

I'd guess the gauge will survive -- after all we just managed 26 pages about an imaginary light !!! No wonder nobody gets much modeling done !!

How about a scale vehicle thread

Found the perfect wheels!! I finally found just what I need to build rims to fit the O-ring tires. Found 2 things actually , both have a perfect "lip' to be the edge of the rim. one is a 10/24 or 10/32 thin metal"anchor nut" the other is part of the insulator on a 10-12 guage wire...

How about a scale vehicle thread

Junkyard Packard Motor progress The V12 motor for the 34 Packard is about done. All it needs now is a distributer, starter, & some plugs & wires on one side. And of course to be cut off its "tree" . Oh, almost forgot, they had a big oil filler tube on the drivers side , thats a must.

    Paul Templar RIP

Even knowing it was inevitable -- I was not prepared for actually hearing this sad news. My thoughts & prayers are with Paul & his family. Pauls family numbers in the thousands as we all are part of it. R.I.P. Paul.

More Junkyard Progress "nother Hudsun P.U. Here are a few progress pics on a Hudson Pickup, made from a sedan, they did make such a vehicle. I'm thinking it needs a big, ugly push bar in place of the front bumper? Perhaps steel with a wood plank? What say you all? As always this is a...

    Rivet Punch Question

One thing to remember about rivets--- in HO OR N scale , for that matter in most any scale we model in, rivets would be so small as to be invisable if actual scale size. We put them in because we know they should be there & our eye accepts them regardless of their unscale size --- unless they...

How about a scale vehicle thread

Then more progress on the 40 Ford. This car will have the interior stripped so , I made a complete new door for it from aluminum & will model the inner structure on it & the unopened door & the quarter panels as well. I think I have some tiny clock gears to simulate the window winders. I have...
