    Ntrak limitations

If you want to have a module that fits N-trak standards but also have the effect of having a branch line and double track main line; you could offset the blue(branch) line to the alternate standard. You could find it in the ntrak website which is simply www.ntrak.org in there is briefly how the...

    HO scale Kato NW 2

Some N scale decoders handle the same amperage of most HO decoders. I believe it's 1.5 amps but you'd have to do a comparison before you take my word for it.

Where can I find CV values

it's most likely because they are two different manufacturers of decoders. Certain CVs are the same across the board but there are certain CVs that are different depending upon the manufacturer. I would get the MRC and the Digitrax manuals and put them side by side to see which CVs match up...

Has anyone ever made a themed railroad?

It would have to be a personal module. Then they'd probably not run trains because of running over your module. although thats if you could get a permit for it. :D

Being a Conrail fan, I cannot condone this type of behavior. Hand over the shell....announce1 On the other hand that is an interesting rendition of what the CSX might have done.

75% General American English 20% Upper Midwestern 5% Midwestern 0% Dixie 0% Yankee That pretty much sums up where i'm originally from. Even though I've been in the south for over 5 years now, this pretty much shows that I've stuck to my roots(rhymes close to stew), and even though I've...

    Do you run "local" railroads?

I will be creating the line that went by the house where my parents live now except during the Conrail Era. The closest railroad to where I'm at now is a half hr away.

    Tortoise & the Hare

Our club just purchased two of those hare decoders designed to plug right into the tortoise switch machines for a section of track so we can eliminate blind head-ons. Has anyone tried this with the Hare decoders or any other decoders? One guy at the club says that Digitrax's DS54s have more...
