    Yard Scenes

I'd say the NS would be like the UP and it would just become the bland NS paint scheme.

    Yard Scenes

I wish we did operations on that layout. We were in the process of setting up operations but they never finished before i left. They pretty much had a car card for every car including some of the member's cars but they still had to make the waybills and i think part of that was figuring out...

Question for all you Canadians, (Americans too)

Chicago Hot Dog Stand Here is the hot dog stand I was referring to previously. I happened to have the camera semi ready and snapped a shot while I was heading out of the area on Monday afternoon. I should stop there one of these times.

    Custom painted motive power

Very nice!! I love "what if" paint schemes. IMHO Union Pacific screwed up half of their Heritage locos paint schemes. You, sir, get an A+ in my book.:thumb::thumb:

    Spectrum 8-40C Performance

If you want a decent running and better detail dash 8 and can settle for a 4 axle then look for the atlas ones that came out a couple years back Atlas Model Railroad Co.

    missmatched loco speeds

One thing you could try is theres a way you can set the minimum, mid, and max speed settings in your decoders. The command station book calls it Loadable Speed Tables. You'll have to find your decoder manual for that though. I still have yet to do that but it supposedly works with a bit of...

    HO Code 83 Track?

I am building a layout with Atlas Code 83 track and turnouts on the mainline and shinnohara track and turnouts on my industrial area mainly because my dad has a ton of the code 70 flex track. That, i believe, is the most realistic setup you could have since code 83 represents the most realistic...

    UP 844 Excursion

I managed to make it to Boone, IA while the 844 was on display there for a day and a half. I know a guy that volunteers for the UP Steam and he showed me some areas of the cars that most people didn't get to see. If the Rear end car was unlocked I would have been able to get into it too. I...
