    Favorite steam passenger power?

Well regardless. If I have my way, I'll have a full daylight set in both scales.

    Favorite steam passenger power?

Yes, I don't know how well Kato will model theirs as far as details but at least they're going to have articulated cars like the original. Broadway/PCM will be very detailed I'm sure as their past works have proved themselves. Jake

    Using flex track

I prefer to do it with the movable rail on the inside because then all i need to do it cut the excess rail off. And as for tie spacing I personally haven't noticed a significant spacing difference between when it's curved and when it's not curved. But i guess "to each their own" On a side...

    Favorite steam passenger power?

Mine would be the Northern or more SP's GS4 4-8-4 most commonly used for the daylight trains. And speaking of the daylight passenger set coming out from Precision Craft/Broadway Limited; when are they gonna stop pushing back the date!!! I wish they'd do it like Kato is doing their N scale...

    Trip to Phoenix

If you ever feel like going for a "jog" those radars are about halfway between oak and mcdowell on 52nd. I was able to see them on google and microsoft local.live.com as plain as day. Google Maps

    Canadien or Canadian?

I always wondered myself why some cars were "e" and some were "a" and i had no idea there was such a car running around. I know there were those cars that were bilingual on each side a couple years back. Those pics of 404064 must have been fairly recent considering the reflective tape on them.

Help me w/ DCC Specialties Auto Reverse Module

I got a simple auto reverser circuit from Tony's Trains a few years back and it was as simple as that. I guess all reversers aren't created equal. Jake

    Trip to Phoenix

Haha, Ours uses a twystron before it heads out on the waveguide. here's a pic from back in '04 I say it like that because we have a thyratron on the trigger amp and a TWT in the driver right out of the frequency generator.

    way to go Walthers!

I've had a good experience with Intermountain. I bought a cylindrical hopper at a show that was missing a catwalk and they sent it totally free of charge.

    Trip to Phoenix

Haha, yeah theres an Air Control Squadron which is Air Force but its all deployable so we go set up in the middle of nowhere like the army so thats why its there. The only time I've been on the flightline for my job was when i was in Iraq because we had to drive on the taxiway to get to our...

    Trip to Phoenix

It was all in the schedule for the team that goes around to evaluate radars. This guy does the type of radars I work on and asked us to help him since he's short on people. The Air Force has been generous to me in the timing of quite a few things in the 7 yrs I've been in.

    Trip to Phoenix

I'll find out next week when I know what hotel the other guys are staying at. I'm mainly going to be there for work evaluating a radar or two at the Air Guard Unit so I suppose not far from there.

    Magazine choice

I picked other because both are good. I subscribe to Model Railroader and pick up RMC when an article interest's me, as Gary said. I tend to think that RMC is geared more to the more intermediate to expertish modeler and MR is for beginners but they have wonderful articles that everyone can...

    Rant: Outrageous Pre-order Lead Times

I too preordered a BLI Southern Pacific Daylight set because it is the most accurate out there that's not brass. However I made the preorder in either May or June of 2006 and as of today its been pushed back to May 2008. I might just say the heck with it if the Kato N scale version comes out...
