Help The Gauge while you shop at Amazon

Peter, if I paste that link on another page, will it still work or does it have to be this banner?

Gauge Fantasy League "Notes" Thread :) :)

I know what you mean. I'm a Denver Broncos fan, but they had a game where I would win more if they lost. Talk about mixed emotions.

Found Great Model Rr Site On E-bay

I'd report him to eBay officials. Their reputation depends on getting rid of people like him.

This seems to be the most logical reason not to bid on your own items.

Gauge Fantasy League "Notes" Thread :) :)

Looks like you all are having a great time. Too bad I wasn't organized enough to get in on it this year.  Next year I'll try to do better. ps. It had nothing at all to do with having a losing season last year.

Found Great Model Rr Site On E-bay

Kyle, another way to get your item noticed is to use as many different words and spellings of them in your description. Don't worry about putting them in your heading. Most people I know include descriptions in their search parameters. If someone does a search for the kind of thing you are...

    Manufacturing in China

I'd have to agree with you to a certain degree, however I'm not so sure that it is the knowledge of economics that attract people to this country, especially illegal immigrants. I suspect that it has more to do with the "American Dream".

    2 month Warning!!!!!

Not only that, I don't believe that I would have the NMRA minimum clearance between track and ceiling, and we are talking about an N scale layout.      Sorry for the off topic post, I just couldn't help myself. sign1sign1

    2 month Warning!!!!!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: You've got to be kidding! :nope::nope::nope::nope: I haven't even figured out where to put the stuff that is stored in the space where my planned layout is going to go. wall1wall1 I'd have a yard sale, but I doubt that I could even give the stuff away...

Thanks Roland. Not only did I add that link, I got three others from it that I added as well. :thumb:

    Manufacturing in China

Art Deco, I will concede your figures. I guess that I was thinking of a time 30 or 40 years ago when unions held more clout and could sway elections more-so than they do today. Still 7.4% of an electoral voting block is nothing to sneeze at. But then where DO we look for answers? The loudest...

    Manufacturing in China

Scoot, I agree with nkp174. When I was talking about unions I was referring to the leadership and I don't mean the shop stewards who work alongside of their fellows. There is definitely something flawed in the business sector when a company can hire a CEO for millions of dollars and then pay...

Decals made from a home printer

Thanks Roland, I started it for my own use but then thought it might be helpful to others as well. Whenever I find a site that looks like it would be useful I add to it. Do you have a URL for the "Detailing and Painting a N-Scale Kato SD70M"? If so I'd be happy to add it to the list.

    Manufacturing in China

Ah, where to start? First off I think that most everyone agrees that the bottom line is the all powerful dollar, yen, euro, yuan, rupee, dinar etc. After all, that is what is driving the global marketplace. Trouble is, that there are dramatic differences in the standard of living in different...

    Coupler or Coupling

Wouldn't Coupler be a noun, as to what it is; and Coupling a verb, as in what they do with it?

    Cattle Car Quandary

Thanks for the information. My layout is freelanced, a north/south subsidiary of BNSF with a UP interchange. Still a bit too far north to fit between NE & CA. I guess either eBay can find them a new home or I'll use their trucks as spare parts. Or else use them as commuter cars. :evil...

    Cattle Car Quandary

Unfortunately I don't live where I get to see a large number of trains, but I can't remember seeing any cattle cars in the ones I do get to see. Are they there and I just never see them or are they from bygone days? In my excursions on eBay I ended up as the owner of a number of said cattle...
