nice to see walthers is re-releasing these. i have all the kits listed above with the exception of the piping and blower house kit, and they are very nice kits. but the price for three bottle cars seems sorta high. i only paid $31.00, for three of them and that was only three years ago...

got these pictures yesterday at the kiski junction railroad. for once i had a camera with me and was finally able to get a picture that i actually took of this locomotive. todd

the sound in the blueline loco i have is great, sounds exactly like the real thing. im not sure if you can turn if off though. i have ran atlas and genesis locomotives together before and they ran pretty good together. on my coal trains i run bowser 100 ton hoppers. they seem to run the best for me.

in case there are any csx or sand patch fans out there, i bit the bullet and bough the sand patch book i mentioned my earlier post. its a great book and i think the best book on csx i have read. very nice clear photos and interesting explanations too. well worth what i paid for it.

within the last 6 months i bought all the locomotives you mentioned with the exception of the blueline ad 40. instead i bought a bluline ac6000 in csx. all of them in csx scheme. my own opinion that on a nice long coal train like 20 some cars, the genesis csx sd70 and atlas dash 8's look...

i have the other book about sabd patch called CSX CLASH OF THE TITIANS. it listed for $70.00, but i got it for $30.00. which wasnt bad. its an ok book, not great and i do not think its worth $70.00 . just my opinion.
