well, its improving, I paiint any foam that is not covered with plaster so as to prime it, i mix a fair amount of alcohol with the glue/water, i still find that a 50/50 mix wants to bead ontop of the grass and have to go with more water, seems to hold ok so far. more testing needed

I have 2 ten wheeler and 2 consolidation, i found simular problem just moving about in the yard, the stiffness of the loco-tender wires and the tight fit of the drawbar cause the tender to ride up the drawbar pin as the loco corners, lifting the front tender trucks which then strike the switch...

Yes, I allways had a huge interest in trains and because of sight in one eye only its the closest i am going to get to running a real one. That and running and maintaining Steam traction engines at the museum. (and it keeps me from spending too much time at the computer)

The piers were never cemented, It was to protect the piles from Ice and debris damage during spring flood. When i remember it they were covered in sheet metal not just lumber. One end or part of the bridge was burnt at some point by a farmer, i have no idea how it looked before i assume it was...

Nearly dry in the summer but a large amount of run off in the spring, it had big sheet steel ice breaker plates on the "piers" there has to be a picture of it somewhere around here, might have to set up the slide projector
