I think I would agree although there are always those circumstances were it is hard to keep that amount of distance. I just installed a backdrop yesterday and there is one spot were it comes within an inch but it is just a very small section that would be the bottom of a valley.

the undermount atlas are exactly the same as the top mounted withthe exception of a control arm at a 90 degree angle

You should do cripple creek and victor. Is a narrow gauge and was probably buitd for mining during the gold rush.

10-19 Finaly got some more progress done. I added more trees, added the back drop, covered up some of the old balast with finer ballast, added some dead grass color flocking on the mountian slopes, added some other shrubery

I have no problem with 24. Most of the curve sections that are around 11 inch radius

You might be able to comprimise a little less. A six by four would get everything you want in I think, that two feet doesn't seem like much but on n scale it is alot. I have a three by six and i have alot packed into it, two towns very small yard a three foot tall canyon and lots of mountian...

this might work it has a yard in front the city is ment to be in the center on the mountian. I did not do a double line because of time but you might be able to squezz one in. The mountian did not come out right when the center line comes under the other line the left right line should be...

serveral cheaper, no one I know could ever tell the difference so lots is more impresisive. Plus I only have two as of now and I need more.

I use the industrial type brown paper towels or something equivelent then dip it into a thin plaster mix. Later I add a thicker coat of plaster or sculptamold to look like a rock face

I see im too late but if you ever want to draw a layout i think atlas has a program you can download. I use abracadatas program which gives you a great 3d veiw
