    Landmaster; Damnation Alley

Interesting reading, but I am an anorak, but also happy :p What I am happy about is version 2. Stuck laminated section straight to the cornflake packet and wrapped the whole lot. No visible joins. A bit fiddley on the cutting side, but easier to build.

A more simple wheel arrangement would be lovely at this point. However we need to continue. 1st attempt at joining the out riggers. I wrapped a piece of cornflake packet and then joined to laminated section. It works, but not happy with all the lines. Next attempt will be wrapping the whole thing.

I always thought the design was a way to get over rough terrain. Large rocks etc. that normal wheels wouldn't get over. As in this sack barrow/truck for going up stairs. Obviously I'm not suggesting one was based on the other (either way), but there is definitely some similarity going on here

Yes, that's it, but I'm not making the gear wheels out of paper

Been doing 'other' stuff, but no got a bit of progress. I've done lots of tweaking on the body to get the fit as right as possible. Now working on wheel mechanism. Reusing paper, so don't worry about the inside. At this scale it's become very fiddley, but it's coming together.

It's coming on. Need to do some slight size adjustments on the parts, so they meet better. And on the build side, need to bring the front together without tabs, so I can bring them closer at the join. I reckon the triangular wheel arrangement will be the hard bit. Got a plan, just got to see...

Some progress. I have little free time during the week, but still try to get a bit done every night. Good thing about a study is that you can pretend you're still working.

Some progress. Moved the wheel arch up and stretched arc below to get a better shape. Also working on bringing the front end panels together at the correct angle. It's a rough quick build to see if it works.

Hi, Zathros a great help. I got the same image off the internet and hopefully aiming for 1:43. I'll use your dimensions to double check what I have. Thanks. Here are my workings. Built internal structure And prototype 1. Not happy with 'wheel arch' sizing and shape, so reworking.

Hi Zathros, yeah I found that site. Interesting but no diminsions. Apparently the thing was left rusting in a yard for years, then someone restored it. Good job! I noticed the side windows have been altered at some point.

I've started a project I may regret. I've looked 'everywhere' and am suprised no one has done this yet. Not much in the way of any dimension, so I'll have to put this as an interpretation!

Don't I need a toe-shot to get in the Micro-club. One of a kind, yes! Now to find something equally frustrating and pleasing to work on.
