    Building Yoav Hozmis Kfir C-2

I know exactly what you mean. I am into papermodelling again (tried this when I was seven years old and gave up :D) since February and my archives grew to a vast 14 Gig ;) Plenty of stuff to build :)

Thank you Zathros. I think there are many words with double meanings ;) Here in germany we have many of them too.

    Building Yoav Hozmis Kfir C-2

So have I Micah. I flew the Kfir for a long time as a R/C Ducted Fan Jet. The kit was from Byron afaik. And even there it wore IAF markings ;)

    Building Yoav Hozmis Kfir C-2

Hey Zathros, I already got that version mentioned above. The different liveries provided are different only by the tails and the plane numbers on certain parts. The resolution is perfectly the same as the original model was. I am aware that Yoav changed the download location. Sometimes designers...

    Building Yoav Hozmis Kfir C-2

Hey folks, as I finished my SHADO Interceptor today I thought it is time to build the wonderful Kfir from Yoav Hozmi. Yoav is a very gifted designer who gave some of his projects for the puclic to download for a limited time right over at the papermodelers forum. He did a very awesome graphic...

    UFO Interceptor from Uhu02

Hi Tonino, the magnets are some 1mm x 1mm magnets which I got from a tabletop game store. They use this magnets to make arms or sort of stuff moveable on tabletop miniatures. Other magnets I used was on my raven (they were 6mm in diameter and 2mm high in size) to make his torso twistable. Those...

    UFO Interceptor from Uhu02

Fotofinish :) After completing the tail section and the skids and redoing the canopy the bird is finalised. Well for the first build of a model from Uhu02 I think this bird goes not so bad. I learned many lessons and I am looking forward to my next build though I did not choose yet what I will...

    UFO Interceptor from Uhu02

Thank you, Tonino for your kind words. You are very welcome. I will have some extra time for building the next time since I am "reorienting" my job ;) At the moment the glue on the skids is drying out and I am printing the new canopy so the old wrinkled one gets away quickly. Will post some pics...

    UFO Interceptor from Uhu02

Thank you Zathros :) Today I am working on the wings and struts just to complete the underside of the Interceptor. Wings are mounted and strut parts are cut out and edge colored. The "reinforcements" on the wings in the strut area are mounted too.

New to Paper Modeling! Question about glues.

Most german forums compare Wiccol to kittifix almost even... I by myself do not have much experience as I am alomst new to paper modeling but I like kittifix best.

    UFO Interceptor from Uhu02

And what does a papermodeller do if he wakes up at 5:30 in the morning? Cutting, glueing, folding Took my time and build the tactical warhead for the interceptor... Now going for some coffee and breakfast I definitely love the face of this bird...

    I wanna try the LM...

This is exactly how I feel building the SHADO Interceptor from Uhu... This is my 4th more complex model and though I ran mad at some building stages with Uhus blog it is all perfectly buildable. You did (as I mentioned before) an awesome job on your LEM!!!

    UFO Interceptor from Uhu02

Thank you spaceagent-9 many small parts later... The engine compartment is finished. Front and rear thrusters have been installed. The next step will be the tactical nuke in the nose of the interceptor. Getting more and more proud of the results I produce

    UFO Interceptor from Uhu02

A small update. I worked a bit on the Thruster housings. Instead of the glueing tabs Uhu created I decided to butt glue the housings. Was a bit fiddly but at least it worked. Next step is to complete the thrusters (parts are already cut and edge colored) and the the engine section is finished...
