Remember I said I have -999 experience points on 3d modeling? I think I'm up to +10. Full size model, double walled construction, a light kit for the monitor. Now all I have to do is design legs and feet, run it through Papakura and build it.

I cut the time on reinforcing the formers in half.

PUBLIC DISCLAIMER: I did not want to start a flame war between the inkers and lasers. I personally believe that ink printers don't produce accurate images. The images are fuzzy because of the ink spreading. Besides, if I wanted to start a flame war I'd say, for example, "Han shot first!" But...

I'm using a HP Color LaserJet CP4025 to print my patterns/parts. It gives a sharper image than my ink jet, the image doesn't smear when my gluey fingers touch it and I don't want to buy fresh ink jet tanks. ;) Can I use Testors Dullcote to prevent image cracks during folding?

I got a lot done this weekend. To make a long story short, I securely glued in the pod arms and started working on the upper hull. When test fitting the upper hull pieces I noticed that the arms are too low. There's no way to move the arms up. I'm starting the entire mid-ship section over...
