if you can afford them, I would go with Faber Castell pencils. They are more expensive, but the quality is well worth it. The quality of prismacolors is going downhill. I bought some about a year ago, and have had numerous issues

An old glider design of mine.

@finchhawk maybe to add color like you said you wanted to, you could just add paper layers over the balsa, as that way it would have the color you want AND the durability of the balsa wood

How do I prevent printed image cracking during folding?

I don't use color laser for that reason, but i'd say make sure you score all of your fold lines lightly. I prefer using glossy paper with my inkjet printer, as it gives the same glossy-looking finish, but the ink won't crack. This way, I can also use plain printer paper for less shiny models

They all look great, but that Direwolf is BREATHTAKING! It looks so REAL, especially with your attention to all of the small details, like the saliva dripping from the teeth to the texturing of the fur. Keep 'em coming!

    X-Men: Days Of Future Past

@spaceagent-9 the next movie will be based on the comic saga X-Men: Apocalypse I liked the changes from the original source material, too. I feel that it helps, as it keeps both fans of the movies and those who have already read the comics on the edge of their seats.

    AMT's Eagle 1 from Space 1999

Depends on how much time you have to work on it. It would make the difference between a good looking model and a great one. If you have the time and the patience I'd say go for the "plastic surgery" option
