I have had one she wasnt a bad runner all she had was a noisy motor which can be fixed with a Masima motor. and some lube. The newer ones look good (not a Kato or PCM good but cheapo company good.) I will be getting my seconod in a few weeks so i will show pics here if you would like but i say...

I love the standard line LL i had 5 of of `em they all were extremely smooth runners due to the springs for drive shafts.... The only reason why i have one now is b/c 4 of `em had a date with the floor, the shells were extremely fragile. Notice i had the most recent LL standard line before...

it does give it character...it looks cool with the ripped edges.....like a really strong wind got to it :)

how do you get the trains to stop after leaving the hump?

That You maybe right about that Boxcar TrainNut....it does look a lil big....but there has to be something else too. **EDIT** Its the bridge that is out of scale! it has to be an HO scale Girder Bridge.

Did the UP ever own those types of locos?

Looks great! but what happened to the sign on the ends? it looks like the decals ripped the edges. Is that code 55 or 80?
