Ford F550 Super Duty Ambulance (Polk County)

New York City returned all their new Ambulances to FORD a (this was a long time, maybe 20 years or more) because when they would take a left turn, the serpentine belt would fall off. Ford and New York City's own mechanics could not fix the problem. A court ordered FORD to take them all back...

Thanks, the reason I ask is with the face completed, and the back still open, this would be a perfect time to take a Ball ended object, and with a little moisture, round out the crease lines. ;)

Ford F550 Super Duty Ambulance (Polk County)

The Ford and Chevy chassis have that in common. There are so many different looking vehicles running on these chassis. I think eventually I will revisit the chassis, that may inspire someone to build their truck or vehicle on it. ;)

    Rebuilding Italy in cardboard

Your Grandfather had vision. The city must be very proud of him. What a beautiful place to live and work in. I know you work very hard. You deserve to live in such beauty! :)

Ford F550 Super Duty Ambulance (Polk County)

Totally understand. I had started a P30/35 chassis, as that is what my motor home sits on. I thought, that chassis is so ubiquitous, all postal vehicles use it, there are millions on the road. I got really far, but blew that hard drive, I lost all the reference photos, everything. I was...

Construction of an Sulaco eBay ruin

What is "3-Druck, 70 cm", I have the "cm" part, but "Druck" means "pressure" in a translator, so this must be some idiomatic us of the word, I guess? 27.555 inches long? :)

    Rebuilding Italy in cardboard

I'm not sure if it was an email, post, but Tonino posted a picture of where he lives, and referred to the spot of that pic as being his home. It is a fairyland a couple of thousand year fantastically beautiful city. I tried looking for it on the forum and in Google Images, but could not.. It...

Ford F550 Super Duty Ambulance (Polk County)

Just curious, what's underneath? I was considering building a Chevrolet P30/35 chassis. I found good pics for the Ford Chassis this ambulance sits on. There are very few models of chassis alone. Built to scale, they would be quite a unique offering. Check out this link below. Just a...

Many people are oblivious of the sword of Saint Galganos in the stone, the fact that it's length has been verified, but cannot be explained. Truly miraculous. :)

I showed your model thread to the guy who owns the new hobby shop that opened up. He was shocked. He was oblivious to this kind of modeling. You do make it look easy. :)

    AMT SILHOUETTE SHOW CAR

I got it ridiculously cheap. It needed just new tires and a couple of fairing bolts. The guy who owned it was 6' 4" inches tall, and he got this bike as his first machine. That was a big mistake. The bike scared him so much, he drove it and parked it after putting only 4395 miles on it. He...
