    Body mount couplers

I hear some people say that all their rolling stock has bodymount couplers. I think we all now that is the best, but I never saw a how-to on this. I would like to convert my rolling stock to bodymount with N-scale couplers. Question: Can I use the Microtrain trucks and couplers I use now...

Maybe I should stop modelling US trains

Dash10, I can understand your frustrations, but when I pay Global Priority to USPS and they need subcontractors when the package leaves the US, they should be more critical and investigate if their overseas partners are capable to handle the job. I can't understand that the US is able to...

Maybe I should stop modelling US trains

Simon, I hope your parcel from France arrives soon. Over here no sign of my package yet. I heard from another Belgian modeller that he orders his stuff in Germany. This German internet shop is specialised in US train stuff. The prices are higher, but when the postman arrives no taxes to pay...

Bombardier bi-levels on eastern commuter service

I wonder are Bombardier bi-levels seen on eastern commuter railroads. Eathern has nice sets of these in N-scale, but I think they are all western or Canadian. Am I missing something ? Paul

Maybe I should stop modelling US trains

Sorry Don it was shipped with USPS, but once in Europe some nitwit package servers take over and that is creating the problem. Latest update: Got an e-mail from GLS, that in that case the package/express number is wrong. Wrote them back that the Belgian Postal sevices did a trace on this...

Maybe I should stop modelling US trains

Javier, Sorry to hear you have the same problems with this package servers as I do. As soon as all is cleared up who is responsible on my package transition I will make an official complaint to USPS and my local Postal service. I hope more people will do that to get this pirates out of the...

    Blocks, common-rail wiring or not?

No Dick I think you see it wrong. This trackplan is one from John Armstrong. It is like two figure eights running parallel. From each figure eight you can escape to the other but the direction of travel on each figure eight is respected. See it as two mainlines with right hand drive on each...

Maybe I should stop modelling US trains

Folow up on my topic. Got an e-mail from GLS that the package with the express number I gave never reached their compagny and never entered Europe. Dropped an e-mail to Mark (4nscale.com) and he replyed that the package that was returned from Europe, was surrounded with tape with the GLS logo...

    Blocks, common-rail wiring or not?

Thanks Jon, That looks the idea for me, following Tony's advice on more blocks and your advice on common rail, I had the same thoughts on strength with common rail wiring and flex. Paul
