River and lake railroad ferries in H0?

I'm guessing they are disappearing. We used to see this ferry make regular visits to Duluth. I was told that it was often loaded with box cars full of large paper rolls for newpaper printing. http://www.wellandcanal.ca/shiparc/carferries/incansuperior/superior.htm Ralph

    Photography Game?

If only I'd been more attentive at the time! Actually I don't think I had a chance to see the head end equipment in NY when boarding. We approached the train from the rear. I was feeling rushed in Chicago to make my connection so I probably fast walked right by the locomotives on my way to...

    New Layout pictures

    Am I getting to old?

I think Matt's quote says it all: "Ours is the truest form of nostalgia. Longing for an era we have never known". Your interest in earlier railroad times Ronson2k3 seems to be a reaction to today's high tech, maybe too sterile, too automated world that perhaps lacks some of the warmth, the...

Looking good Herc! Hey Jeffrey, I saw a similar cool pedestrian bridge in the Trackside Photo section in a recent issue of Model Railroader. Here's a picture of action on two levels on my layout. That's my trackcleaner car on the highline. Ralph
