Yeah, Hobby Lobby is strange. On some stuff they are over internet prices and on others they come in under. Isn't the Big Hauler a G scale? If so, that's a pretty good price for a whole set. I'd like to do a G scale outside someday. Then again, if I had the money for all the train...

I always thought the terrain for train sets were a bit overpriced for what they were. You get a lot more with the Woodland Scenics Kit. Of course, that takes more work and dedication as well. I guess it depends on how much time you want to put into your layout.
