I think I made an Uht-Oh... I think that I didn't edit one of my laser cut files, the outer clear lens, to match some interior measurement changes I made to the body shell. I will have to wait a couple of more hours until the main body print is done. Glad i bought extra plastic. I am happy with the the red parts. I am going to double them up... I think. (Thinking out loud here)... The inner layer will have holes for the LEDs and the outer layers of red will act as more of a lens... When I went to the plastics shop to get the 1/8 inch red... I had three choices, opaque, translucent, and transparent. I went wit the translucent because Light should pass but you can't see through it.

Couldn't wait, so I printed @Revell-Fan 's face details at 85% scale on clear waterslide decal. I was torn on printing a color paper copy to act as a template under the clear plastic and apply each detail separately or to go hard and apply one giant waterslide decal all at once.. I did the shotgun approach. It's not bad... but not great either
WOW! This is progressing nicely. I printed the face on transparent sheet but the sheet has a blue tint to it and the print is not as saturated as I wished. My next try would be transparent sticker sheet. Maybe this could work better than one giant decal.
Today is a boating day, but before I run to the marina... I broke the outer cut lens.. (Mongo lack gentle touch and patience) I will reduce the cut file by 1%.. the inside of my frame has notches to fit the plastic and I tried forcing in against my better judgement. I need to adjust the trim ring's inside diameter as well.
Tonight I will go to grabCAD or to an electronics manufacturer website and find CAD for the correct size IC Circuits matching matching mounts. I can print them in black and use silver paint or rub n' buff for the legs. It will be easier to print them than to order or buy the chips. Most electronics parts makers give their CAD files away for developers to incorporate them into their designs.
GrabCAD is a free resource for CAD files for almost anything. The quality and accuracy can vary, but for the most part the models are very accurate. This is how I will get reference parts to space out the electronics for Theo.
I used a picture from Amazon to make the texture for the tyres of the Ford F550 Ambulance. Maybe I should give credit to Jeff Bezos for supplying the picture because the tyres came out so life-like. 
A little progress made last night. Iteration #2 is complete and I am happy with all of my parts fitment now. I need to order my LEDs and pickup a textured acrylic light refuser from the lighting section of the hardware store. I also want to try a color laser printed decal on clear sticker paper (not the waterslide decal). Here are some of the latest pics. 
All of my electronics parts have been put into my amazon wishlist. I am scared to look at what the total will be. I have a problem with buying stuff from amazon when they offer 1 for 5 dollars or 3 for 7 dollars. when you have a big order it adds up fast. The up side is that I will have plenty of parts for future builds. I will pull the trigger on the order tonight after adding them to my cart and recovering from the sticker shock. I think the last thing I need to get is the light defuser.
I'm constantly struggling with their free shipping policy. You are 2 cents below the threshold and you can't find anything to boost up the value because all you could want is offered by a third party seller... 
All of my electronics are due to be delivered to today. Stay tooned for more updates. Also while looking at the reference images on 'byyourcommand" I think I have determined the rearmost lens in the model is frosted. I am going to try to use some cheap white hardware store window privacy film for the haze/frosted effect there.
