I did a dry fit of the Sphere and Secondary Hull.
They did not join well so I have to make lots of little cuts to the 'neck' to allow a better join.
I then connected the unfinished sphere to the secondary hull
I'm glad I did it before completing the sphere. I found that it helped being able to put my finger inside the sphere to press it against the Hull. Had I finished the sphere I would not have been able to push the parts together well enough to get a good join!

I wholeheartedly understand. I too have found that paper/cardstock model building helps calm me down.
