Alpha build templates double checked and printed. Let the alpha build begin.
Oopsie and afcourse there will be an interior inside the pilot hull.
In the studio model there is no interior but I dont like that.
So its not a big suprise that I'm gone use the UHU02 Tie interceptor interior.

Hello all, below you will find this weeks slow progres. First the fuselage with one rear engine part and the front nose from the bomb fuselage. The other half of the engine is still in the former. Tomorow I will assamble it and attach it to the fuselage.

Small steps, here you have the front of the bomberfyselage. There are a lot of small pieces to cut and I have to make some small modifications.

I forget to make tabs to fit the front to the fuselage. For know I will make a fitting strip. I already changed the template. I love alpha building.

All those "fiddly bits" really make these models so fantastic. You can't purchase stuff like this! Mass produced objects lose a level of reality to them. IMHO :)

I was not happy with my engines its hard to centre and they looked crapy. So back to the drawingboard. This time I designed internal formers for the fuselage. With help of the formers I can centre the engine. Also I madethe centre engine cone a few mm higher.
Some images with the former and engine attached togheter.

Next put the former and the engine in the fuselage.

I have to say this is way better then the previous engine. Stay tuned on this thread.
