Maybe not, if it is mean to be a double layered, and more realistic door. ;)

This will make a really nice display piece. It would be nice under a Glass or Clear plastic box to keep the dust off. ;)

when it is finnish and the weather warms up...... I plan on spraying it with several coats of "High Gloss" then I may go to Hobby lobby and buy a display case for it. I may need to buy several, after all I have bought 6 of his cars and I plan to build them all.

I recently contacted TKpapercraft and invited them to come and view this thread and I also let them know that I had found a few flaws.
Hopefully, they like this thread. I have to say it again.... I'm having a BLAST building this model.

When I first saw them I was impressed by the details. I bought all of them, which I a great deal considering the price and how detailed the models. I suffer to think how much these would cost if they were plastic kits.

This car had spoke wheels. They would be quite a project, but doable, and we have some pretty good tutorials on how to do them, there are someon the web too. I found a nice pic of the wheel assembly, and the tire tread pattern for reference. It could take oforever to do, it would be totally undertandable too make the ones the came with it. It is coming out superb. ;)

Update: been working on wheels and found I had to modify the inner structural walls. the ID is to small in dia. so i had to enlarge it
left is the original right is the modified one

the parts only have enough of the spoke parts for each wheel to have only a single layer, but the instructions show more, plus a hub for each wheel
I decided to add a hub and a second layer of spokes for strength.

Internals installed.

Now I have 4 more to make.

Good work on the wheels! In the future, @zathros 's suggestion might be fun to do, where you do the spokes out of wire or thin plastic strands instead of paper. But I'm liking how they are turning out for you! The result is good and that is the only thing that matters :)

Actually, since you are skilled enough, you could do the thin spoke strands out of paper instead of wire or plastic. Just another thought!

Those wheels look like spoke rims similar to many cars of that era with spoke rims. Excellent job on them. Better than trying to make paper spokes that look awkward. Really coming out nicely!! :)
