I have a stack of printed paper models, (who doesn't) that I have been adding to and building from, since I started building paper models back in 2007.
I was building Halo pep models for my Cousin when I discovered paper models. I was just recently going through the stack when I found this B-Wing.
I have no clue where I got it from, and cannot read Cyrillic. Does anyone have any info on this model?20191207_155557.jpg

As long as you aren't building it to sell, or trying to make a profit off of it, your building and posting it should be OK. I doubt if any of the models seen on here have original designers permission. But then the Admins or Mods would be the ones to give a definitive answer.

Here is the thing. No franchise (i.e. Paramount, Disney, Universal Studios, or any of the others) will give permission to build models unless they (the franchise) can make money from the models. So, even though those who are designing them and putting them on the internet for free, are doing so without license or permission from anyone.

@ennder To answer your direct question, you can build and post a build thread of ANY model that you wish. You can even post the link of where you got it (so long as it is not a pirate site). If you have a question about what sites are pirate sites, please send both Zathros and myself a private message.

At one time, I don't know if it was this fourm or another one, there was the policy that if it was a paid for model, and you had not paid for it, you were not allowed to do a build thread. I'm pretty sure I did not pay for this model. That is why I'm asking, I don't want to break fourm rules. I would like to do a build thread of this model in the near future.

In this case nobody had a right to sell this thing but nobody published it as free model neither.

Oh wow - this is a beautiful model. It is the most detailed B-Wing I have seen. Unfortunately it is not available - it would be great to build it.
Lucky all those who got one.

As a rule of thumb, post your builds, do not post where you got it from, unless, like what I post, as an example, an official site that downloads the models for free and says so. I just made such a post., It's nobody's business. I don't even want the question asked. Unlike other forum(s), we do not claim nor are the Internet police.

That's my say on it, which makes if final, with the same finality as Rhaven has stated, we discuss everything, if Rhaven states it, it is the way it is.. Build these models, if anything, they make the models aware to people who see them, and then they can look for them. ;)

I too would love to see a build thread because - honestly, I would have aready made it if it wouldn't look so beautifu on the pages. I haven't gotten the time to scan the pages to keep the book intact but one day I will build it myself. The texture is so gorgeous and it the amount of greeblies that are already included in the kit is amazing.

I hope you scan this first and print the scans to work with instead of the original!!!
I scan everything, then if I need another I got a copy!!! also if I screw up, which happens far too many times...

Hi at all!
The parts of this model are marked with stars. Some parts have 3, some 2, some 1 and some parts are without any stars.
Can anybody explain?
My guess is that the stars indicate the thickness of the paper - but I am not sure.
