not enough time to build in paper these days - shifted my love for building stuff to lego for a bit

Switching from space to the oceans, Lego Set 6285---more commonly known as the Black Seas Barracuda was a fond part of my childhood. I found a "mostly complete" set on Ebay in the early 2000s for cheap, but didn't have a chance to sort through parts pile and try to piece it together until...

not enough time to build in paper these days - shifted my love for building stuff to lego for a bit

Posting a few pics of the assembled ISS. I think that it conveyed a good sense of the original. I think the detail level was appropriate. A nice use of a couple evenings. I have a LEM and Saturn in box when the mood strikes.

Who wants to meet for the Launch?

Wish I could! I was a student in Florida and saw one launch at a distance. And later went back for the last night shuttle launch. Memory of a lifetime. The thought that blasting into space is the start of a work commute for some.

COVID CORONA VIRUS PREPARE PREPARE PREPARE!!!

Zathros, I appreciate your thoughts! Yes, Alaska is an odd case. Though - I also wondered how long it would be before cases in WA came to AK given how closely the two states are connected (and that was months ago). Now we just wait and see. Yes, as I am adhering to the protocols above, and my...
