i love the gluing jig

most of them weren't too bad.. its the 1/16 to 1/8 sizes that it got bad.. yes that small..hahahah.. as the great doctor once said. (Oh, the pain, the pain...) hahaha

there are over 2200 triangles to UHU02's tower.. my hands and eyes still hurt from it. but my god does it look beautiful.. min stands 3 feet tall

oh, you are gonna have soo much fun building it. i did one a few years ( 9 ) ago. stood taller than my fridge. the engines took the longest to make.

i made my own hinge for the hatch using a piece of paper clip. took a bit to figure out but it worked..

i used a wooden dowel through the holes for the wings to pivot on.. easier than rolling the paper..

Hi all. Well, did a little more work on the shuttle. The wings this time. i decided to attach all the panels first before putting them together. all the parts cut and ready to glueall 4 done. now the fun part of putting togther..

instead of using the rolled paper , i had some wooden dowels ( for roasting marshmallows ) that were the right size. cut to length and a prefect fit. put the skins on the landing legs and attached them to the outer skin thats as far as i got . next will be attaching the skin to the main...

sorry for not keeping updated. so i had a little booboo on 1 part ( thank god ). the pivot parts for the wings. the directions aren't very clear on how to glue togther. so i glued the strip to the "inside" of the joint. wrong...too thick, so the next one i glued strip to the outside edges.. now...

i have done a little bit . need to get pics uploaded. days are still in a fog of late.

mind-numbing it sure was..lol.. but with some good music playing time slipped by quick.. but boy did the fingers hurt later..

oh and a killer to make for sure...lol
