    NOAA-19

Here's the first rough build on NOAA-19 beside the image from the net. I think the cone part is too big. I am quite puzzled by the satellite. I don't really know what I'm looking at.

:-) I've got some with lights inside. I've also been buying lights to use. I think a stickup light would work with this one. Have you built satellites? I think I recall someone here building them, but I couldn't seem to find the thread.

    NOAA-19

Wow! I'm popping with ideas after Westercon science fiction convention art show. I did't have any sales but I've got ideas of how to change that. My prices were too high, and the pieces too small. Also the lighting was bad. So I'm going bigger for starters. Also it seems that people in Denver...

    Boats for Westercon art show

Art projects are never finished, they are abandoned. But then I come back to them. I found that I had itty bitty motors which I'd never mounted, so I did, one thing led to another and I put on the winch and radar. I haven't put in the itty-bity coffee cups or the itty-bitty duffel bags. The...

Good idea. I gave away my work before to those who signed up. I think I will hold off on incentives for now. I've heard advice that incentives tend to bloat mailing lists with people who aren't actually interested.

I'm pleased with the hanger for the seiner. I've painted that rice paper part so it's the color of water. I think I'll do more like that. I'll be able to get the rice paper and wire looking like waves. I probably can sell this in a gallery in Homer or Seward. Lots to do. I want to get these...

Oh yes! I've done moon but want to do it better. Venus is next. And I want to do Saturn.

    Boats for Westercon art show

I've dusted off boat models to include in the art show. This is one of the first card-models I designed. I'm finishing up the hanger. It was falling off the wire so I used rice paper and acrylic to cover the wire shelf. I'll paint it a watery color. I'm pleased with the display solution and may...

Maybe I do $30, $60, $120: minimum, after sale, quick sale. No other reason than the globes are made with 30, 60, 120 degree angles.

My goal is to draw people to my website so that they sign up for my mailing list. Then I can send them notifications about when I have a new book or a kit for sale. I want the price high enough that people treat the art as valuable, but not so high that someone who wants in can't have it...

I painted the clouds on the solstice, using the weather view of Google Earth for references. So this is where the clouds were during the summer solstice 2018. Next week I'm displaying my work in the Westercon sci-fi convention art show. I have a 4' by 4' panel. The work will be sold by...

Gandolf50. I went with the beads as washer idea. Thanks. I'll post images as soon as I figure out what size is small enough for the server to handle.

Only the beginning. I've got all sorts of ideas I want to try.

Working on the most recent iteration, # 25 I think. My goal is design of a kit. These globes are 2" in diameter right now. I'm going to scale up soon, but I've still got a few tweaks. The bearing sleeves throw off the accuracy around the poles, and they are a bit awkward to put in. That problem...
