    Greetings from Florida, USA

Welcome @flpaperguy! Looks like you have excellent taste in models. I actually just finished the NinjaToes BSG Viper Mk2 a little while ago and posted here on Zealot. I am also eagerly awaiting the 1/32 Viper Mk1 from @Revell-Fan. Can’t wait to see your future build(s).

Such a wonderful tribute to a wonderful boss and a wonderful place to work. Great craftsmanship!

    Tie Raptor

Love the cockpit detail! I’ve always wondered if a “ship in a bottle” approach would be necessary to achieve this but it looks like you found a way.

    Raketoplán (Space shuttle) Endeavour STS-49 / ABC 1:100 / L. Badalec

This is exceptional work and a lot of time-consuming accurate detail. Well done!

    Pierre's Intro

Welcome Pierre! Love your models especially the depth greeting cards. It reminds me of the old techniques used by Disney studios for making their cartoons. I also watched Space: 1999 as a kid and have been hoping there’d be a reboot or revival of some kind (ala Battlestar Galactica).

A memorial to my mum (A BRTC25 Thunder Fighter in BSG livery).

Wonderful model and a wonderful tribute to your mum. I’ve always wanted to try making human pilot figures to fit inside the cockpit. Did you use actual photos of your mom for the figure or is it just a representation of her? I also like the fact that the computer looks like one that would be...

    BSG Viper Mark II

About the only thing I could share is the control panel design. Everything else was scratch built. Should I attach that here or is there a more appropriate place to put that on this website?

    BSG Viper Mark II

This was my most recent build. Embarrassingly I started it about 18 months ago with grandiose visions of building a fully functional toy from just a relatively simple free template found online. I’ve always wanted to include retractable landing gear in one of my models and therefore embarked...

    R2-D2: 12” Action Figure Size

Thanks Revell-Fan! I never think of the triple dot button when looking for the edit feature. I just assumed the title was not editable. You may be able to tell this is my first foray into blogging.

See Threepio: 1/6th Scale … ish

That’s the one that the moisture vaporators speak, right? Oh no! That’s binary.

See Threepio: 1/6th Scale … ish

And finally I had a figure that could be seated at the space chess table! Having him be able to sit meant I needed to add an extra POA in the legs allowing the lower legs to be perpendicular to the floor. In the end, I had 20 points of articulation.

See Threepio: 1/6th Scale … ish

I then moved on to a colour build but this time I printed using a colour laser printer with normal bond paper rather than card stock. My hope was that the curves of the model would be more manageable. My goal was to add as many points of articulation as possible and to have the ability to seat...

See Threepio: 1/6th Scale … ish

I’ve always wanted to build paper action figures ever since my youth when my parents would refuse me extra money to go out and buy the toys. It was something I could never master by scratch but these days templates can be found to help with that. This C-3PO template was a bit short for the 12”...

    R2-D2: 12” Action Figure Size

I just noticed that I goofed! The title I posted stated a 6” action figure scale but it’s actually in line with the 12” scale action figures of the 70s. Although obviously the model itself is well below 12” measuring in at 7.5”. I must have 6” on the brain as those are the size action figures...

    Y-WING BUILD - Construction continues...

Excellent craftsmanship! The Y has been one of my favourites.
