I want to make a backdrop using building pictures. I want to however make them appear different distances from the background scene. How do you go about doing it. The flats will be attached to the background scene.

I bought a package of soldiers at the dollar store. I thought it would be easy to rearrange their bodies a little through some plastic surgery (pun intended,) but it won't hold with plastic model cement or super glue. Does anyone know what I can use to glue them together? I thought of trying...
