There are quite a few dead deer along the tracks this time of the year. I hate hitting them because it is an awful sound. Dim the lights and ring the bell usually gets them moving along. But on the Acela there is no time to react before it's too late, it must have been an ugly mess.

You did better than me, I bought the one already painted! The one thing I did find with it is that you can spend more time detailing it. I have had mine for the last 5 years. I plan on selling it on EBay soon though. I model the DRG&W and my fleets of freight cars and engines has grown so I plan...
