This model was originally designed by Martin Saenger. The extra components (to make this into the MK-III Thunder Fighter) were designed by Me (Rhaven Blaack) & Revell-Fan. The cockpit interior was developed and design by me (Rhaven Blaack) & Revell-Fan. The landing Gear was designed by Revell-Fan.
The MK-III is strictly and fan based Thunder Fighter that I came up with.
The main wings and canards, are from the X-29 FSW experimental plane that was used for studying "FORWARD SWEPT WING" technology.
Since the Thunder Fighter is one of my favorite SCI-FI fighter planes and the X-29 is one of my favorite X-Planes, I figured if the wings work, why not mate the two together and see what it looks like.
As you can see, it is a very aggressive looking craft. With the Stealth paint scheme, it looks mensing as well.
I installed a detail cockpit interior and made a functioning (hinged) canopy. I also detailed out the plane as a whole.
With this one, I made the canopy so that it would open with a hing. I know that it is not canon. I made it this way to show that there are different options to make a working canopy.
