A model of this magnitude may take some settling down as far as the pages, what is in what order, etc, since I doubt anyone will be starting it tonight, let's get our copies and when their has been a collective consensus on what order the instructions go in what order, or anything else that needs to be clarified, we can do that in a separate thread and put the final observations in this thread, which will is a STICKY. Not here though. :)

uhu02's x-wing is absolutely stunning - congrats for this excellent work ;-)

@dnalor : ...I'd read your signature :) and saw that you want to build an Imcold x-wind red 2. What is the difference between the red4 and the red2 ?

WHAAT you don't know? :)

The paint is different..

So when you build them all you get a red2 en 4 from Imcold and a Red3 from Uhu02
That's a great room full of super models....uh x-wings.:)

yeah - shame on me :-D

I'd overflying the templates of the 4 and the 2 and can't see more different as the painting, thought there is more difference except the painting.

I really need to buy 160g paper :-D

There is, just nothing major. The rear end of the fuselage has a bit different shape, the nose's notch is different, the covers at the place where fx models had mounting holes are different. The front two sections on the bottom of the fuselage are different lengthwise due to torpedo tubes being at a different position with different lengths (and the former between them is different of course, too). From the 4th page on, the patterns should be the same (I don't really remember)

I had the same problem today, too. I checked back after 15 minutes and then everything was okay.

As of today (Friday 26 April) the instructions page 10 are still not there, both main post and archive.

The instruction page 17 http issue is fixed main post but is still in the archive.

Just checked it, it works for me. Keep trying, and try another browser. Good luck! :thumb:

According to the numbering of the pictures I guess the main build page IS page 10.

That's just...beautiful. I may cry.

Everything is just awesome. Even down to the tiny R2 unit.

Fantastic work, uhu02. Masterpiece.

So, now the templates are available, is anyone attempting this bad boy, and will you be posting progress reports (please)?

Sorry, I forgot to add: Thank you, Uhu02, for your hard work and generosity in sharing your genius creations with us.

Cheers,

I.
