Power supply question....Hornby railways

I recently collected my old (1980's) 00 gauge Hornby sets from my folks, only to find that my Dad has lost the PSU....

Can anyone help me with the current (I know that they run 12-15V DC safely) but I've googled myself silly trying to find the current with no avail.

I'll try to post some pics of the sets when I get chance
