Okay! Good pics! But....NS is still in service! Now if it were NW....
sgtcarl:wav: , if you are referring to THIS pic i posted:

Perhaps you should take a little closer look at the lettering under the NS:winki: , that waffle side boxcar was ORIGINALLY a "SOUTHERN":eeki: , the "SOU" denotes this:thumb::mrgreen: .

sign1 i know NS is still going:toug:sign1

I caught these three at CPRail's (formerly TH&B's) Kinnear Yard, in Hamilton, Ontario. With back light in late afternoon, it's a bit difficult to make out the lettering.:-D

Mopac, complete with screaming eagle:

Another Mopac, just for Deano ;) :

And another member of Uncle Pete's family, a Cotton Belt bulkhead flat, loaded with plate steel:

Wayne, i knew you rail fanned, i was hoping you would add to this thread, and you sure did in a big way!:thumb: GLAD to see UP's on your side of the tracks:winki::mrgreen: . hey, the first pic you posted is a two-fer, notice the Santa Fe autorack in the back:thumb: .

Todd, you asked for advice, you don't have to do it, but i crop out all the excess out of the pics, and just focus on the car i want to post, like i said, its NOT necessary to do that, your pics really look fine the way they are:winki: , thats just something i do, and since you asked, i thought i would pass it on:smilie: .

I used to live near Junction City, Wisconsin! I have seen many fallen flags on that track. It's hard to believe that the Wisconsin Central is now a fallen flag. That CNW caboose, I believe, is an old Rock Island caboose! Speaking of Rock Island, I love the old The Rock covered hopper!

AWESOME Pics everyone!!!

Deano, i love all those CNW pics!!! I think its cool how UP leaves the old CNW Logos and marks on them and just places a UP shield logo on the car

It's a little off topic but still a fallen flag I made a quick stop at the Lehigh & New Englands shop complex in Penargyl Pennsylvania today. You could consider it freight equipment because the LNE was a freight only railroad for almost all of it's life. The round house is first the turntable pit has bin filled in and the bridge removed (I think it went to steam town). It is now a warehouse.
