Hello all and thank you in advance for all assistance and guidance in this. I am in preparation in building a MRAP vehicle, but will be modifying it and therefore will need to paint it. I have read that prepping the surface prior to building with a sealer or spraying many fine coats onto the finished product. I will be using acrylic paint.
I will build a cube with similar build aspects onto it as the kit and experiment. But I would like to hear and know from those that have done this what tricks/tips and or guidance can be provided.
Again, thanks in advance.

Always start spraying in light coats, til you hold it up to the light and can see the surface is sealed. Use 110 lb Card stock. It takes painting very well. Anything thinner will warp over time. Consider inside structures, such as Balsa on the corners, and Balsa bracing, for long term stability, Popsicle sticks work great! :)
