dose anyone on here still race RC cars?

There used to be a nice slot car track, then it got really expensive, and instead of the good old fashioned bring what you got, the cars turned into the ground hugging, mever leave the track, with plastic see through side walls. Took all the fun away. I've started buying those little helicopters and am going to make my way up to a "real" R/C/ one, as the prices have come down greatly.

I know what ya mean Z I have 5 or 6 Racing RC carsone with a 1.5 hp, 23000 rpm Ron Paris custom engine, 3 speed transmission and an actual cops radar reading of 103 MPH. now no one races anymore it's all just playing.
