Here's my tribute. I thought it fitting to be an Italian plane.

My first attempt at a scale paper model.... I thought it would be relatively straight forward given it's a single sheet of A4. Wrong!
I made quite a few errors including getting the underside of the wings wet!
Never mind. It was a good test and learning experience.
It's a funny thing. Building models challenges you to understand the mind of the designer in a way that can't really be explained. Well not by me anyway.

Great job Steve! Zio models have something special, I don't know what it is, maybe it's because I started this hobby with them. My first model was an Albatross. They're not simple, they have their tricks, and they're lovely. Very well done. !!

They sure are tricky, but very enjoyable models.
Perhaps I may do a couple more monoplanes then move on to biplane.
The Albatross is one of my favourites of that era.
Perhaps that will also be my first ww1 plane too...
