Bandai 1/1000 scale Blockade Runner

This is the little, 5" long Tantive IV "Blockade Runner" as seen in the opening of Star Wars, I forgot to take the build pics because I was working on like 3 different things, but here some pics of the finished model.

that is the tiny little Star Destroyer from the Death Star II kit in the background...

and just to start a flame war, the Tantive IV alongside the Enterprise as negotiations begin

both the Blockade Runner and the Enterprise are in 1/1000 scale.

I have the Tantive and the DS 2, too, and they are wonders of engineering. The detail is almost unreal; the only thing to make this perfect would be an addition of a miniature centerfold sheet that was glued behind the cockpit windows on the original filming model. Great work, Micah!

Thanks Z, one of the things on my wish list is the Polar Lights 1/350th scale Enterprise Refit, if I can ever get and build that one, then the wee little Bandai 1/350th Millinium Falcon will be docked at the docking port...

Thanks Marcell, I did this one with all paints, and washes, no stickers... so all the colors are hand painted
