As I said sometime... it should be a great pleasure to have the King as a very honoured guest!

My door is always opened for esteemed colleagues! ;)

And I bow to you, Sir!
I will find it also, an honour to meet you!

I shall come to you bearing a model of mine, of your choosing, for your first hand perusal thereof! :D ......

Anyway, cutting the (Bovine Excrement), It would be a good excuse to have a beer or three together, see your beautiful city and for and me to take some photo's of your stunning project............ ;)

Here I am my friends! Now that picture uploading is on-line again I can close here the first great chapter of this long adventure.

INSIDE IS DONE!!! :D

With the last touch, the little crossbow now floating in the middle of the cabin (do you remember?), the inner section of my model is finally completed. It's not easy to take good photos of a model like this. At least it will be hard until I'll have placed some LED lights to better see inside through the windows but to do this I need to complete the outer skin of the model as I don't know what will be the space available between the two walls to put leds and cables.
Waiting for the inspiration to put my hands on the external fuselage I put here some images for you to evaluate the general look of the beast.

What a Masterpiece. Put it in an Argon filled case, that has the botton sealed, this will keep the gasses inert, and you can take the top of the display off without losing any gas. I hope you used Pigment Ink, if not, keep it away from the Sun. What a beauty!! ;)

If you present this at a competition I'm sure you'll be the winner - because the mere presence of this model would scare away all other contestants immediately. ;)

This is one of the finest models I have ever seen. Spectacular, mind-blowing, overwhelming, breath-taking. A tribute to the original mission beyond comprehension. WOW.

You'll definitely have to protect it from moisture, dust and light. I would put it in an acrylic case if you display it somewhere.

Superb miniaturization, regardless of medium. Now to upload big pics to your, "The Gallery" section, before picture uploading goes out again!!:)

I took a hiatus from Modelling just about the time you had just printed the Instrument Panels. I come back over a Year later, & now you've completed the whole damned thing! Magnificent is all I can say; if you intend to do the Outer 1/4 Deck with the same amount of Detail, it will be something to behold.

:Bravo:

Just a quick note to say hello to all of you my friends. I was somewhat disappeared lately. Had some, well...really many, things to deal with in my life, work, family and the many other activities I try to fit in the 24 hours day with little success.
I didn't abandon the shuttle project. I am just in a little stand by but still working to complete the external shell (still working on it: see the window frame in the back of the photo) and to add some interior lighting with LED filaments I've found on the web. They appear to be the best choice to simulate the fluorescent tubes that was on the real shuttle ceiling. This is how my desktop appears just now...

I've just too little time to post updates, anyway the updates are very little. I promise to be more active as soon as I'll have consistent news to show.
See you soon! :)
