Somehow I feel like watching "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" again. I was completeyl blown away and pressed into my seat so tight that I was barely able to breath. Epic and overwhelming.
As others said before: This piece of work unbelievable! I wish I had the space for that model ...
And what comes next? A change of the universe and a 5 meter model of an Imperial Star Destroyer?

Building in the future?
I have seen this model before, but I thought it was as large as my fear to build it (once again, I am new to this hobby). But seeing what you are accomplishing gives me the courage to keep going on and maybe someday, when I feel more confident, build a SULACO, surely inspired by your work.
You are making real what I have only seen in files and some sparse pictures.

First of all, congratulations for the Sulaco you've been assembling. It is an awesome model.
I wanted to ask about you mentioning the Betty ship... is there some model of it available on the net? or is this going to be a scratch model you will make?

I am going to see if I can get that. I just registered. If they want money for it, I'll look someplace else! Lots of neat stuff, but everything had a high price. You could get actual R/C planes for the price of some of that stuff! Lots of time and effort though. I guess people buy this stuff? Man am I out of touch! 
@Revell-Fan: But a Battlestar of the original Series ... That one looks much cooler than the new one. And I think it is easier to build.

We have already a BIG 3' new BSG from skupilkinson, Nothing, Steve & co. So naturally I was referring to the TOS ship..! :twisted:

Thanks for the link. I registered but was unable to get it... no download button. Anyway, I was more interested in an already unfolded model. PS: Noticing your nick, I could not help but mentioning that I had dozens of Revell plastic models - loved them. In fact, I still have some in their boxes waiting to be assembled one day when I have the availability. Here at the country I live (Brazil) they were injected under license for many years... a quarter of a century ago.
Hi, lemonade! Welcome to the forum. Don't worry about the pile of unassembled kits, you are not alone :mrgreen: ! I made the experience that especially sci-fi kits may have a very limited run and will become extremely rare and expensive soon after their release. So it is always better to get them when they are still available at reasonable prices.
One of the main reasons why I joined zealot were the BSG kits which are available in the downloads section. They are top-notch, they are free and they make excellent display pieces. In many cases papercrafting gives you more freedom and you may get models which have not been available yet or which may be impossible to afford such as many of the rag-tag fleet ships and Jan's Sulaco (which has already set a new standard for model building as a whole).
And yes, my nick was highly influenced by the Revell company because they were the first to release BSG models (which I had been hunting down for almost 18 years; times were different in the 1980s here in Germany; we even had only TWO magazines informing us about new movies - "BRAVO" and "CINEMA" - and NO STARLOG :cry: ..!).
