The Gameboy craft is my retro fantasy. I own 10 of old classic DMG-1 Gameboy consoles....So why do not have a racer who look like Gameboy™ :thumb:

...I like it a lot, but you are first person who like it too. All my paper-friends (Imcold, dr.Spendlik) saying, that this model is bit bizarre.

..this model will be available somewhere in new year...

Yes, it is a bit bizarre, but it is an interesting design. GREAT for gamers (I am sure).

Have you thought about making one based on the Delorean?
Here is the website: http://delorean.com/

Astro Racers are my personal Wipeout crafts kind of way.Not comercially loaded with the game rights.. Astro Racers is my Brand and free for all ..and I can sell a model from time to time without any permission of anybody else. (Except the Gameboy racer, for example).

If we talk abou wipeoutish desing...I really like assegai from wipeout pure....and an idea comes to me.....If I will have only the back part (cockpit with wings and engine)...then how it will be look like if the craft will have different front part.
...I called this idea VARIATIONS and it ´ll have four creations :thumb:

...I saw your profile on facebook but don´t realised that was you..D-Whale

I had a 280SE Mercedes for years, also, a 4 door 230. I also owned a 1964 230SL and still have a '73 450SL. Those would be great cars, just leave off the emblems and people can "greeble" one on! A Mercedes 300Sl GullWing would seem to be a natural. So would an SLR Racer. The SLR could be an open cockpit for a astronaut with a helmet on!! With that brutal air brake, it would be perfect for atmospheric re-entry. Those cars have no emblems save one Mercedes symbol.

And for an early lower species, with less technology, offer up an MGTC based model. These must have tonneau covers to keeps your stuff in the cockpit, heck, I need that on my MG Midget here on Earth!! That too would be a cool thing to see. !:)

To think, they made that car with GullWings because they needed to save weight as the engine was under powered for racing. The Space frame was designed to allow for a super aerodynamic, light weight body. They created a classic, that's really hard to get in and out of! You have to take the steering wheel off, which is easily done, as it is designed to do so, sit on the "ledge", anything that wide is a ledge, and pivot and go in feet first. Never did get to drive one, but sitting in one was neat!

A lot of people don't know that these cars have a tubular frame and the body floats on it. Only 29 of these were the super light aluminum bodied models. The rest were steel. After the initial batch of 1400, the SLR was born, it could be had in a convertible, which the pic of the convertible with the streamlined headrests was. The doors, hood and trunk lid were still aluminum. There were other improvements.
