got a question to ask you all. how many models is too many to be working on at one time?
i have 4 going at once. i get going along building one and run out of steam on it. then i start another and same thing happens. i keep telling myself " i got to finish, i got to finish", but then" oooooo!!! lets start this one".
they are all 3/4 done( well, almost) .
3 from the MASTER UHU02 and the other by Michael Grosberg .
here are some pic's of them..( yes, i am gonna post build threads once they are done)

For me its about realizing my vision, like a green laser tos Klingon disruptor with sound, the laser spread like a cone. or a perfect Jupiter 2 from lost in space. The meditative cutting and gluing (altho I am still after all these years not very good at it, I have to use hot glue due to the hives I get from acetates) and then finally completing a model. Tt's a great stress reliever. I found a great challenge to surf the northwest coast for years, but then an a car crash ended that. Then I sought to play the piano, but after I got into it, I found that I just liked to play the guitar. Faced with being rained in for 8 months a year, I found while searching online for pictures to collect, an interesting paper model of a star trek ship, the ST3 Grissom. It looked so much like a plastic kit that I had to try it. I was hooked instantly. I like to mash and bend and curve the paper, making it work. Lately I have tried my hand at designing and have found the Klingon D7 bell cannon section especially fun to try to make look like it is smooth and curved right. So how many is too many, NOT ENOUGH I say!!

I need to rebuild my entire collection. When I left my third ex-wife, I could not bring everything with me. She was not willing to send them to me, however, she was more than willing to burn them all.
So, now, I have to go through and rebuild my entire collection again. The good thing about that is, I get to put in all of the greebles and added details that I did not put in originally!

I find it best to concentrate on one, and just have a "to do" list, which is quite long, BTW..... I try & avoid looking at any other printouts I have until I finish the current project :)

(Works 90% of the time ;))

One at a time on work table works best for mee too and I have no problem to stick to his rule. But I somehow manage to have 4 models in design stage on my PC (4 StarWars models and one viking ship). And it does not speed up the completion of any of them. I must choose and concentrate on one also.:)

I can't comment on this. I am horrid when it comes to designing a model and releasing it. I have helped countless people with sections or parts they had trouble designing, but I just don't have the wherewithal to follow through on completing my own works. I have great admiration and respect for you guys and all you do. :)
