Ich möchte gerne diesen Hangar bauen.
Leider ist dieses bisher das einzige Bild von dem ich mich leiten lasse, ich hatte es in meinem "Projekteordner".
Sollte also jemand mit Bildern helfen können würde ich mich freuen.


I would like to build the hangar.
Unfortunately, this is so far my guiding the only picture of the, I had it in my "Projects folder".
So if anyone can help with pictures I would be happy.

Mit kleinen Resten das Ganze dreidimensional gestalten, ähnlich dem Foto.

jetzt eine Wellpappe um alles zu verstärken, Kleber war Holzkaltleim/ Weissleim
to strengthen a corrugated now everything, Kleber was cold wood glue / white glue

Holy frak, this is so awesome! But be aware, this "model" will take up MUCH space. There is a reason why I haven't continued my BSG hangar yet... I HAVE NO SPACE!!!

Please write down any dimensions of the parts. If you document everything carefully this could be the first step in making your very first cardboard model kit!!!

Make as many screenshots from the show as possible to extrapolate the look of the hangar. Take special care of items which were re-used from Galactica; you might find better views of these ones on the BSG DVDs. I guess the EDD hangar was modified in season 2 to be the Searcher hangar. Just take a look.

If you rescale the files to 1/32 it should look fine. (If you need any help with that drop me a mail!) :)

I have this kit. I too have thought about making a diorama like this. So I guess, I will
be following this thread.
As @Revell-Fan I too would like to see dimensions.
Once I was able to get to itt, I too was going to very closely watch each episode that had the hanger and grab any screenshots that I can.

Here you go...I do believe your model will have more to it than the actual TV set, which was flat black walls and a few standing props!

Als Baumaterial hatte ich die Holzlamellen von IKEA noch rumliegen, die boten sich hervorragend an...

As a building material, I had the wooden slats of IKEA lying around that offered themselves excellently ...

und da mein Lieferant schon angekündigt hatte zur Jahreswende bekommt er neues Material wollte ich die Altbestände doch noch aufbrauchen.

and as my supplier had already announced at the turn he gets new material I wanted to use up the old stock still.
