I've been running my layout with the Zephyr with no problem-I programmed 4 locos with no problem. I went to program some CVs today and I kepp getting an open circuit error with all my locos. Nothing has changed since I programed the address. All the wiring checks out. Hooked up an indepentant piece of track and wired it to the programming terminal and still getting the error. When I try to read the locos address, I hear a humming noice from the loco and it sometimes surges forward 1" or so then the open circuit error. Is there a problem with my unit????????  :curse: :curse:

I have a Zephyr, and never encountered that problem???

Something has changed ;) it's just a question of finding what... Are these the same locos? Is the address still valid? Is the decoder still in the engine ;) ? Is there something shorting the connections or track? Do they still run on the main without problem?

If all else fails - read the instructions sign1

You may need to reset the unit, or at least unplug and plug back in? What else can you tell us about the problem?
