March 30th and April 6th are the next open houses for the York Railway Modellers club in Toronto. Their layout is 40' by 40' of CNR and CPR in 1957. Lots of steam and early diesel.

5 Oakland Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Adults $5.00 / Children $1.00

Yes, that does look nicely done! I like all of the photos, particularly the first that conveys the expanse of the layout but I keep going back to those beautifully striped RDCs!

I'd be there were I anywhere near Toronto!

My youngest son & I visited their open house last fall and really enjoyed it. It was a great layout and members were helpful in describing the layout and pointing things out. Not sure if we'll be able to make it out this time or not. Rob

Is there still another railway club next door?

Yes, there is! and it's quite good as well. It's all modern image (i.e., ca. 2000). It's also in various phases of completion. So some sections are nicely sceniced in while others are just track on baseboard. We really enjoyed seeing it as it's also on multi levels.
