7 Bright sparks got up very early for a Saturday morning and met up in Guelph to register for the days tour, With maps in hand we all set off together in convoy
I was designated navigator :( I am not the sharpest too in the shed as is now well known :p
Anyway out of the 40 open house Layouts we managed to cram in 7, with plans to "Do" more next year.
Unfortunately there was not many N scale.
We have G/O and HO.
Robin or Val will post to and may have snaped the N scale that was in progress. :thumb:

Starting with a lovley Brit L/O

We took a lot of photo's between us, but I found less than half of mine were any good. The fairly low lighting in a lot of these layouts means you really need a tripod, which is an impossibility in a tour situation. So a lot of hand-held shots are blurry. I took a lot with flash but I really hate what that does to the colour.

Anyway, here are a few of mine that turned out ok.

These are from the is the first 2 layouts we went to.

On to the next layout. The maps we were given were helpful but still left quite a bit to the imagination. I made more U-turns on this tour than I've made in the last year!! :D :D

This is HO.

For some reason, even though I have downsized the photos to 640 x 480 and saved at qualitity setting 4, I am getting file too large messages for the rest of the photos of this layout. :(

The next layout was very much "under construction". I snapped a pic of these two young fellows, operating their own 4x8 layout outside the main layout room.

They thanked us very much for coming. :)

We ended our tour as Chris has said at Aberfoyle Junction - a large O-scale layout. This place is a must-see if you're in the area. I wish I had a shot of the night scene - it is excellent. Lights come on all over the layout, and in town, first the store lights come on, and when they go out, lights come on upstairs. It's extremely well done.

The first shot shows some of the interesting trackage they have. The second are the "gods" of the layout up in their heaven. Then a couple of street scenes and one of several stations on the layout.
