I am using a 30% nitro mix in my stock 2.5 t maxx I was wondering could I blow the engine up? I have almost ran a gallon of the 30% through it. I have it running really rich and my temp is between 170 and 200 deg. Any suggestions is welcome.
    Thanks Hotwheels454

I see no problems running 30% nitro fuel as long as it contains the proper percentage of oils for proper lubrication. When I ran my nitro boats on Byron 25% fuel I liked to add one ounce of Sig AA castor oil per gallon just as added insurance. From the temps you've listed it sounds like you are fine though.

You will have no issues running 30%, however you are running way to cool my friend, lean it out and run it. Keep an eye on your temp as summer begins and the weather warms up you might have to re adjust.
