I thought I had finalized my layout plan, but then I found myself with a whole bunch of free time in Brazil, so I came up with about 15 others to fit on my already completed benchwork. One plan that really appeals to me is basically a point to point with a return loop at both ends.

One of my planning criteria was to have continious running, if I just wanted to kick back and relax. Of coure, I realize that a return loop to return loop layout will require the throwing of switches to keep things running (unless I toss in a switch machine, which I don't feel like doing), but that's a compromise I'm willing to make. Anyway, I'm looking to use DCC, and I want to keep the wiring to a minimum. Should I simplyscrap the return loop idea, or is there some fancy gizmo out there that would make my non-electrical life that much easier?
