why do bi-planes shoot up stright when on take off

    just wonderind i baught a seagull bi plane the stear man and when i went to take it off 3 weeks ago it shot up in the air tipstalled and came down with a thump can any one explain why?????[B)]

    to much up elevator dont use as much and it will fly better. also try adding those sticky weight to the plane right infrount of the main gear. i did this with my bi 60" and it took off like bullet. it will also help with rolling.
