So far, a 1/96 scale of the Saturn Block I SA-5.
Upcoming, the SA1 thru SA4.
I designed a pineapple, and a sponge :-D and a few other things ;-)
Yeah, and they are magical, homespun in fact.
HMMV Troop transport
Monte Carlo NASCAR
1/72 Scale F16
Bell XV-3 (underway)
VTBS Seaview (underway)
Nebelwerfer, Waffen SS soldier, Heer infantry, bunker, crates, oil barrels, minigun, and about 20 guns. All in 1/72. Going to start on Mobelwagen soon.
Am currently designing/building my first card model.
It is a science fantasy vehicle from a Rodney Matthews Poster.
I'll post a thread if/when I am getting somewhere with it. As for sharing techniques,...hmmm. If I invent something I haven't seen here, I'll certainly post it.
gippolot that is crazy!
gippolot, that is a neat looking vessel. Reminds me of Roger Dean's spacefish ship illustration from the Yes Fragile album.
Yes Doug, they both had wild imaginations and made a spectacular use of colours.
Roger Dean leant more towards the psychadelic, while Rodney Matthews' was strength was more technical (in my op').
For paper. So far nothing.
But I have drawn my own palns for a few fire rigs that I am biulding in 'plastic'
In fact, they might be modified to be buildable in paper/card with just a little work. More parts!
Any body interested in an American LaFrance Snorkle??
(have to make the plans smaller though.) At 1/32 sacle it is over 15 inches long and you would have to have the boom sections printed profesionally.
So far, I have designed four medieval weapons (scale 1:1),
a trebuchet (scale 1:25 approx.), and a chess set. All available for
download from my website.
I don't know if I count, but:
The Battlestar Galactica series on Jon Leslies site
(currently redrawing the Viper to add more detail and clean up the graphics)
Bell Model 30
Bell Model 47 M*A*S*H helicopter
Flettner Fl 282
Messerschmitt Me P-1109
Messerschmitt Me 321/323 Gigant (not released yet)
I mostly do everything by hand, using Rob's methods. But I also borrow parts from other models that fit what I need (the ME-P-1109 I used the X-1 body, Me-262 tail and engines) and modify them as needed.
--2 tug boats.
--seiner fishing boat
--warp-wing sci-fi ekranoplan
--modification of the ekronoplan design for a slightly different craft.
--NOAA fisheries enforcement vessel (Almar RAIV) This is the only one of mine that's a specific existing vessel.
I try to do stuff that I hasen't been done before.... and I get a real "fuzzy feeling" when the model actually looks like what it is supposed to represent. Mostly, I get excited about stuff that can actually move .. or "Do Something"
You're welcome to browse around here....http://members.shaw.ca/billjones/PAPER_MACHINES.html
Ohhh man. I can't wait till the Giant's out.Gonna scale 'er to 1:72 and load it with the papertigerarmaments Sdk.Fz. 251 and a neblwerfer of my own design.
