What is your favorite loco, and why?

I know we have many difference of opinion on locos, but it would be interesting to know what is your favorite locomotive and why. I will keep mine a secret right now until others say something as I have 2 favorites and I don't know which one I will pick, but it will be a real puller that is for sure.

So far, N&W class A 2-6-6-4 Mallet, #1242 to be exact..but there doesn't seem to be a model of it yet. Why? Last of it's kind, built the year I was born, in the City I was born in, and a very cool O. Winston Link photo of the beast....Model wise, so far..2-8-8-2 Mallet, HO
..but my little N scale Trainmaster runs kinda nice...Diesel..I think I go for the Alco RS11..hope I can find one soon.
